i have an EastEnders memory circa apr/may 86 when pauline had a go at nick cotton and told him its pension day and go and mug some old 'un's, andangie says "trouble again nicholas ??"
also barriy (colins friend) tries to help, and nasty nick says "don't you touch me you poofter"

then nick smashes a window, and calles them all bastards, as the police cart him away.

id love to know which episode this is, pure 80's Eastenders, original gritty violence, before it was all softened

Might I suggest, perhaps, that you ask this question on an Eastenders forum; such a place will be populated by EE experts who will be more suited to answering your question.

There's plenty of them out there and all you have to do is Google...
