Dare I mention this? I have one episode of this program in my collection. It contains the Rutland Five-O spoof and a cross dressing continuity announcer who signs off the program by saying:"We now hand you back to ATV,goodnight."

I have both series and the 1975 Christmas special. I think I might go and watch some now.

Don't hate me, Barry. You too can have both series and the Christmas special if you have broadband and a UK Nova membership.

and theres me thinking you taped it. Sadly not, being 2 at the time of the first series and 9 years away from my family's first VCR. Does the fact that it's downloadable devalue the experience? Was it more fun when no-one had it? Anyway, I've told you all how to get it now, and you'd be fools not to follow my advice. It's a wonderful show.

Sometimes I wish I had a computer at home. I taped all the satellite repeats a few years back, taped the last one, then my video decided to chew and snap the (new) tape. Arse.

The UK Arena showings were fairly badly edited, Peter. If you can get hold of these versions, you won't regret it. You can get a decent home PC on Ebay for less than £200, and it'd almost be worth it for these.

If you still have the tape (doubtful) I could instruct you on how to resplice the damn thing and recover most of the contents... It's not rocket science, honestly...
