Was thinking about this the other day actually. Nice work, though a very depressing list!

If you want a big scare look at the list if BBC Enterprises had not made any copies at all.
The Dalek Invasion of Earth - 5 The Wheel in Space - 6 The Dominators - 3 The Mind Robber - 5 The Krotons - 1 The Seeds of Death - 5 The Space Pirates - 2
Seven episodes, and only one of them with Hartnell in it. And that's not even including the big swathes of Pertwee stuff we'd also be missing. We should be grateful they made copies in the first place.

And imagine what it would be like if all the CURRENTLY missing episodes WERE there, and all the ones that were there had been destroyed instead. It would currently look like this:
An Unearthly Child (Pilot) - An Unearthly Child - The Daleks - 5 The Edge of Destruction - Marco Polo all 7 The Keys of Marinus 5 The Aztecs 1,3,4 The Sensorites all 6 The Reign of Terror all 6 Planet of Giants - The Dalek Invasion of Earth 5 The Rescue - The Romans 1,3 The Web Planet all 6 The Crusade all 4 The Space Museum 1,3 The Chase 1 The Time Meddler all 4 Galaxy all 4 Mission to the Unknown - 1 (of 1) The Myth Makers all 4 The Daleks' Master Plan all 12 The Massacre - all 4 The Ark 3 The Celestial Toymaker all 4 The Gunfighters 4 The Savages all 4 The War Machines all 4 The Smugglers all 4 The Tenth Planet all 4
The Power of the Daleks all 6 The Highlanders all 6 The Underwater Menace 1,2,4 The Moonbase all 4 The Macra Terror all 4 The Faceless Ones all 6 The Evil of the Daleks all 7 The Tomb of the Cybermen all 4 The Abominable Snowmen all 6 The Ice Warriors all 6 The Enemy of the World all 6 The Web of Fear all 6 Fury from the Deep all 6 The Wheel in Space all 6 The Dominators 1,2,4,5 The Mind Robber 5 The Invasion all 8 The Krotons 1-3 The Seeds of Death 1,2,4-6 The Space Pirates all 6 The War Games 2,5,8,9
Series 1 & 2 (and Hartnell) decimated but Troughton looks pretty healthy. Earliest surviving complete story - Marco Polo, series 5 complete, only 1 missing episode in series 4 - TUM #3!

And thank you Phillip Morris for recently completing Series 5 for us Series 5 isn't complete, even the most extreme parts of the Omni-rumour seems to think we'll still be missing one episode from The Ice Warriors.

Wrong thread. We're not discussing Omni-Rumours here. Read my earlier post you'll see why I said that.

What type of prints were sent to Mexico? Suppressed or stored? They were stored copies from the information I can gather. They began sales in 1967 shortly after the first lot of stored film copies were made (and rather fortunately for BBC Enterprises, shortly before the video tapes were all wiped for the majority of the Hartnell era).

Imagine the Holy Grail status of The War Games 10 in that scenario! It would be the same as TP4 is now! Possibly even more so, depending on whether or not the regeneration scene (and lead up) from War Games #10 was clipped for another programme, say Blue Peter, before wiping. Unlike TP4 it might have been entirely missing in the scenario we're discussing. No doubt someone here knows! All hypothetical of course...

What type of prints were sent to Mexico? Suppressed or stored? I don't believe that it has been established as fact which types were sent. I remember we had a thread about it not long ago. Although we knew a rough date when the BBC moved from stored to suppressed, and a rough date when the Mexico prints were stuck, we couldn't establish either one firmly enough to say one way or the other, if I remember correctly. tl;dr: me too. Sorry.
