Just looked at the Mausoleuam Club webpage and read the sad news about the passing of TV and film stunt ledgend Alf Joint.
His credits are so numerous,such a busy man that he was.
I remember him best in The Avengers ep A Touch of Brimstone as the "batman" to Lord Darcy(Colin Jeavons),who later reconises Steed at the Hellfire club by saying:"That's the man who broke into Lord Darcy's flat".
And Macnee replys in his usual way:"He's right you know."
Alf was a great talent and will be sorely missed.
