Re the mystery of how the 2003 thread appeared-thank you to Steven S for explaining it fully and how it got where it was. I think that we have all learned something from this escapade-not just to check the small print first.

It just goes to show how quixkly people can jump onto something, and belive soemthing, without checking the (very plain to see) facts first. How do you think certain politicians got to where they are? On a semi-related note does anyone know what may be on the line-dup at THIS YEAR's event?

I think this has become a deliberate wind-up now, either that or it's the strangest thread ever.

All i know is that they are going to show the "lost" LWT Potter play Shaggy Dog and a Gerry Anderson commercial. The rest of the shedule has'nt been finalised yet.

What I understand is that this post was originally made by Dick Fiddy in 2003, referring to the 2003 MBW. Then last month somebody brought it back from the old archives of this site, which brought it back to the first page. Somebody then thought that this meant that the 2005 MBW event would merely be a repeat of the 2003 MBW event. But it's not. This year's MBW line-up remains uncertain as of right now. D for Destruction et al will not be rebroadcast at this year's MBW event.

One rather depressing thing about this post has been to view the now/then perspective. How many things are excitedly found and broadcast at MBW, only to be subsequently filed away in some dusty room and never seen or mentioned again?

Hang on, so then they aren't going to show "D For Destruction" at THIS year's event? Could somebody please explain what is going on here?

1)In 2003 Dick Fiddy posted a message on this board giving details of the 2003 MBW event.
2)In 2005 someone reawakened this post.
3)Many people put 2 and 2 together, and thought that the 2005 MBW event will be a repeat of the 2003 event.
4)The MBW event will not be a repeat of the 2003 MBW event. This includes D for Destruction.
5)Got it?

What I don't get is why Dick Fiddy would have posted this message right now if it didn't have any significance to this eyar's MBW?

Please Mark - for the love of God lock this thread (then take it outside, shoot it and bury it in a lead-lined box, otherwise someone will surely resurrect it just long enough to ask 'So, are they showing D for Destruction then?')
