The 10th Anniversary Missing Believed Wiped will take place at the national Film Theatre in London on the 29th November. Exact time tbc but sometime around 4pm. There will be two bumper packed screenings and it is hoped the line-up will be as follows:
Screening One: BBC2 Opening; ITN News bulletin; 1950's OB; extracts from various series (probably Mogul, No Hiding Place, Blackmail); Cool for Cats; complete Adam Adamant Lives: D for Destruction; plus more.
Screening Two: Extracts from Scott On ...; Heart of Show Business (colour); Julie Andrews Hour (with Mama Cass); Till Death Us Do Part: Arguments, Arguments; Python Satan animation; The Morecambe and Wise Show; plus more.
They'll will also be announcements about some major new finds and details of an important new initiative to help reclaim lost programmes. Sadly no room for ABC's seminal Moroccan Tree Plantations (1964) but there's always next year ...

I'm pleased the Python animation is included - can't wait to see it. Will you be playing the full Conquistador Coffee sketch (with the cut line) as well?

Where are all these Till Death... episodes turning up from? And how many are known to exist now?

Excellent stuff. Can't wait to see "D for Destruction", particularly.
Looks like a must see event!
Thanks, Dick.
Best,
Alan

I thought it was odd that D for Destruction was being shown this year - this is an old thread!

Have just read Mr.Fiddy's news. A bit strange as at MBW 2003 the Adam ep D for Destruction was shown,so was BBC2 opening(the Ally Pally emergency TX),the Julie Andrews with Mama Cass coulor ATV show and the Heart of Show Business and finally the only surviving footage of the first Til Death and a BBC Morcambe and Wise. And so was the phython Satan animation. Hopefully this will not be a repeat of progs shown at previous MBWs;and why not inculude something from the ABC show he says there isn'nt room for? Oh well, nothing like a few good repeats.

No disrespect to Dick Fiddy who seems like a good bloke, but why do so many people on this site clamber over each other on this forum to thank him endlessly and jump on any Dick fiddy thread so qiuckly??? (in this case, without even noticing it's 2 years old).
I've noticed all the 'thanks Dick, you are soooo wonderful, I love you', every time he puts up one line of text on this site.
If Dick posted that he was on holiday for 2 weeks, there would be about 15 'thank you for the information' replies.

Thank you Mr Fiddy for having had a lovely holiday last year and I sincerely hope you have a nice one this year. I also hope you can post a thread some time soon, even it only has one word in it, it will make us very happy as we discuss the meaning of it.

(in this case, without even noticing it's 2 years old). Probably because, with him, he brings information and good news (i.e. an episode recovery) that people here are interested in. Also, he cares about the recovery of missing episodes and works hard for which most of us are grateful.
