following on from my 'found at a car boot sale' thread in Archive Radio, one of the reels turns out to be some Monty Python tv audio. Now, I don't know enough, or have the time to find out, if there is anything on this one reel that may be of interest. Is there anyone out there who has a quarter inch machine AND who knows enough about Python to spot anything unusual? The tape will be supplied free of charge of course. E-mail me at gary@yesterdaysracers.com

I have one if it's useful. And I'd know what to make of it.
Otherwise, it's yet another case of "Please keep us informed!"

Although I do not know of any MP audio being missing... even the hastily-cobbled-together-for-a-quick-buck-album has surfaced some time ago.

For the curious among us: it was the audio for monty python's flying circus episode 38. Nothing special unfortunately...

Isn't #38 the one that starts with the Choreographed Party Political Broadcast sketch that's been edited out of all the repeats and VHS releases?

True. It isn't on the A&E DVDset either, not on mine at least, though some people claim it is on theirs (= their A&E DVD box set). So this audio reel was recorded a long time ago.
But it isn't lost, is it? The material is still extant?
