Great to see Gerry Anderson's 1969 Journey to the Far Side of the Moon on ITV1 last night.
Why can't ITV do this more often?

Meant to say Far Side of the Sun.

Yeah, I caught that - took me back to the days of Night-time with all those old Hammer movies. Not a bad film and all those Anderson models were a real treat to watch. It was great to spot the Anderson regulars as well! ITV1 SHOULD show more cult/genre films, even if it is after midnight. Maybe the success of Dr Who will start bringing such gems back into the public arena. I always fail to understand how people who 'enjoy' I'm A Celeb and other moronic progs have the audacity to call fans of cult "nerds". Surely celebrity-obsession is the ultimate nerdiness?

Er ... what has this to do with missing episodes? Not so much off-topic ... as waaayyyy off topic (not even television!)

I expect they'll claim that the genre is missing from the current TV schedules :-)

Well, if we are being pedantic then a LOT of posts are way off-topic these days. A missing episodes forum should essentially be about just that - missing episodes and the efforts to locate them. When I first started coming to the site there were quite a few threads about just that, but these days the forum is turning more and more into the Mausoleum Club-lite. What has threads such as 'For those not from the UK', 'The Sky At Night' and 'Big Brother' got to do with missing episodes. With the latter, are we now in the game of predicting future missing episodes and trying to track them down while still in the archives! On this thread I'm as guilty as the next man - I didn't think to be honest - but let's not just target one particular post when many are at fault if we are still purporting to be purely for the discussion of lost broadcasts...
