There was a Grampian series called ‘Sounds ‘73’ that featured rock bands. It was shown in July and August 1973. Could the recording of ‘Bellyful of Rock’ be from that? Hi Mark, I'll try and find out information about that show at the National Library of Scotland

Sadly the people who played and were on these shows are always the least reliable for correct info. I asked the wonderful Ray Williams a while back about any surviving Idle Race footage. He said he has none but he knows a lot was done at the time including Ray specifically remembering the band doing 'The end of the road' on TOP OF THE POPS??!!
