LONG POST, SORRY....
What happens when a TV enthusiast is unable to sleep and decides to look for 'wiped' shows.
This took place during the early hours of Tuesday morning:=
"Dear esteemed Transdiffusion Group members. Due to the fact I'm peely-wally and not so good in heat means that I cannae sleep and due to this, I have decided to see how many lost shows I can find before the sun comes up. If I find owt, I'll put anything on this thread. So here's the first one, it's most of a News on 2, 28/11/1977, featuring the wonderful Peter Woods (who does not have a cold in this clip, hahaha). Wish me luck....:-
www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KJgJULTX3YTWNDISH! A BBC Wales show from 03/06/1977, here, just an extract of Cardiff's P.P.S performing here, from a tape owned by a band member/Sioe BBC Cymru o 03/06/1977, yma, dim ond dyfyniad o P.P.S Caerdydd yn perfformio yma, o dâp sy'n eiddo i aelod o'r band: :-

Bit of a cheat this one.... Here are three clips from 'This is....Waterfall', BBC 1 Midlands, 24/07/1981. I spotted one of these clips a few yonks back and I am in touch with one of the band members who has a VHS of it....somewhere....so, it's technically still missing and....I only recall spotting one of the clips before, so....
www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ib2qccNUCk AND
www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmJsp9-OWmY AND
www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vrxV-XC3Go"a PLAYLIST?*" Yes, a playlist.... here are 7 clips from Border TV's 'Take the Mick'. I can't date these clips, and I expect a few come from existing episodes. I reckon these are from Seasons 2 and 3. Al clips feature the Gateway Jazz Band and were uploaded from one of the members own tapes.
www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHlRvc9Qm7GTxFzJRGzQhHqWFCKL0yOg9I apologise for only finding clips, but....f*** it, it's 2.13 in the morning, and Lulu is on this clip, so....YEAH!!!!! Summertime Special, TVS, 06/08/1988:-
www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpj-lPyngyYOk, half a cheat again. I found this clip donkeys years ago - but it never seems to have been returned to Kaleidoscope. The other salient point here is the clip has now been uploaded complete and it much better quality than ever before. The good news too, is that it's Roy Orbison. It's from Stars on Sunday, which isn't my cup of tea at all and yet another religious programme find (SWEARS A LOT). Still, here it is in much better quality than the ropey one I have on disc (points):-
www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqMDGARAMtwSky Star Search? A find is a find is a find, right? This undated - some would say undateable - 1989 edition features Bernard Manning, which is always a tad scary, but anyway, it's not the existing edition from that year. Maybe the acts are good....? I don't know I havenae got time to watch this!!!!:-
www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0ew49L2OBgMore Reg Grundy Productions here.... it's more Sky, a Sale of the Century from 1989 featuring Peter Marshall. Here we are....:-
www.youtube.com/watch?v=opoqGpLUhmYCome on, Raymi, you need to find better stuff, he says....so here's a (probably) missing 1979 Runaround. There are 3 existing editions from '79; I've managed to eliminate two....also 8 wiped editions, so it's 88.89% likely this is wiped. It's in two parts:-
www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDNSp0gC02E AND
www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDNtCo7tV1M . Quality is a wee bit cack. Time I had a cigarette and some Irn Bru....
Incidentally, the reason I overlooked this episode was the uploader can't spell.
Another bit-of-a-cheat. The first recorded episode of Gambit. An early find of mine that never seems to have gone back to Kaleidoscope and is technically still missing. Some of my finds from the first few years of doing this don't seem to have gone back. Good job I check my work (eventually)!!!!:-
www.youtube.com/watch?v=De2Fz4YB8s4And another....some of this exists; it's an edition of South East at 6 and Nationwide from 06/07/1983. There is a digital copy from a VHS at NFTVA, but it doesn't apparently have all of this on it, so my spies tell me:-

AFTER TWO HOURS, I went to bed.
