Hi,
Trawling through my collection of Fabulous 208 magazines I came across this article from the 27th March 1965 on a Rediffusion TV show called 'That's for Me'
I have never heard of this show before so...
I looked it up on 'Lost Shows' and surprise, surprise, all 15 episodes are missing. I then noticed that lost shows don't have The Yardbirds...Manfred Mann... The Moody Blues or Gerry Marsden down as appearing on the show?
The article has pictures of The Yardbirds and mentions Manfred Mann, The Moody Blues and Gerry Marsden
Have any members heard of this show before? as the article says it was'nt purely a pop tv show, but pop did play a part, and the great Anne Nightingale involved as well.

One edition apparently exists as part of Bob Monkhouse's collection. It went out in an early evening Monday slot, the first edition on 21st December 1964. The Yardbirds appeared on 1st February 1965, The Who may also have appeared in January (though possibly on film rather than in person). The last edition went out on 29th March 1965.

Thanks for the info guys, According to 'The Complete Chronicle of The Who' Kit Lambert sold a clip of The Who singing 'I Can't Explain' to the producers of 'That's for Me' for the inclusive sum of £25. The 2 min 6 secs film was inserted into the 15th March edition and transmitted live from 6:08-7pm over certain ITV regions.Anne Nightingale also talked to fans in the audience who had written in asking for the group to appear. Part of the "I Can't Explain" promo was used in the video Who's Better, Who's Best

If you read the page carefully it says J for Junked.
The book lists the work Bob did, and also in addition lists what he held.
