Some great episodes on this starts with the ITC Logo I guess its for overseas transmissions as my book states it was made in Colour!

Lost Shows has it as "existing complete",nothing about "filmed in colour but exists only in b&w" or however they put it.

Which book is that? As far as I know, it was made in b/w (being about 18 months before colour came to ITV, although certain things were indeed shot that way ahead of November 1969).

I suppose it depended which studio got booked at ATV Borehamwood? certainly a costume show crying out for colour.

Hi Laurence;my old Dave Rogers book ITV Encyclopeadia Of Adventure cost me 30 quid years ago Which book is that? As far as I know, it was made in b/w (being about 18 months before colour came to ITV, although certain things were indeed shot that way ahead of November 1969).

That's it I think theres another one called Boxtree Book Of Detectives [Geoff Tiballs]read bits of that in the ITC Library around 12 years ago.

I have to say that there are quite a few inaccuracies in it though, which I was even aware of when it was first published! Still, it's not bad as a quick "coffee table" reference quide, which is how I use it.
