Does anyone know when Dixon of Dock Green debuts on Radio 4? I spent a long time searching online at Radio 4's site and on Google, but couldn't find out. I know it's June, but that's all.

According to my information, the Radio 4 Dixon of Dock Green series starts on June 15th at 11.30am. Apparently, the same theme tune will be used and David Calder is playing the leading role.
They will be the original scripts (reworked). However, the storylines and the period in which they are set will remain unchanged.
Yours,

Excellent! Thanks a lot. I can't wait to hear the series and to know which episodes they're reworking.

I do not understand why we pay a license fee and then all our best radio programmes go for free all over the world. They don't pay for them.

Well, the service is just as much for us than it is for overseas listeners and it's a good way of allowing people's hard work to be more widely heard than just limited to a one-time broadcast. Plus, they only the best radio programmes are archived online and we pay our license fee for more than just those. I personally think it's brilliant that the BBC have such a service! If only our televisions had a similar Watch Again feature.

I have not found that the American Radio Channels offer such a cornucopia of delight as comes from the listen again.

I have not found that the American Radio Channels offer such a cornucopia of delight as comes from the listen again. Which is what makes the BBC vastly superior, in my opinion.
