Now that I think about it, that clip of Lesterson was in color, wasn't it? I think it was just for show. I don't think they would animate an entire Patrick Troughton story in color.

It's strange why they picked Tenth Planet and Power of the Daleks to showreel but you're probably right. There's nothing to it.

I'm greatly impressed by the stills shown on the website, so I'm looking forward to this release. Also a season 4 story on my Who DVD shelf!!!
Hopefully they'll include the VHS telesnap reconstruction as an extra, that would be nice to see as well.
I'm so impressed I made it my avatar!

Unless there's like a condensed reconstruction similar to the 30 minute Marco Polo one on The Beginning box set, except its a 30 minute animation this time. Didn't some one say that have a budget for up to two episodes per DVD release...?

If it if already in the budget, I am surprised that no animation has been announced for The Ice Warriors. I know the odds are against finding episodes 2 and 3, but I am praying for a miracle.

Hmmm ... Maybe a "crossover" special feature on the first regeneration? Hartnell to Troughton? Leaning on reanimations of parts of POTD? They did that on The War Games (or something similar) about all the regenerations though. I'm stumped to be honest. I guess we might know more after Whovention this coming weekend.

... Was Lesterton in the "Next Time" trailer at the end of Tenth Planet episode 4? :3 No, just the Doctor, Ben and Polly finding the Daleks in the capsule (unless there was a second trailer).

It does look great doesn't it!? (I had to re-upload it so it was the in the correct aspect ratio; it was bothering me too much...)
