Does anyone remember a ghostly drama (almost certain it was BBC) about a young woman moving to a new house and seeing her image replaced in her bedroom mirror by that of a nun. The woman is nearly driven to madness until the remains of the ghost are found buried in the cellar and presumably it is put to rest. The ghost makes one more appearance at the end when one least expects it. All very creepy and enough to scare the proverbial from my younger self. I might be able to sit through it with more ease now!!! My estimates for its screening would be the early seventies. Which means its probably been junked. Any takers?

"Quiet as a nun" sounds like it should be it but I don't think so. I've read the synopsis and it doesn't fit, this was a single episode and I think it was before 1978. Does anyone know what "The Exorcism" by M.R.James looked like? Did it involve a nun appearing in a mirror?

Is that the Exorcism episode from the Dead of Night anthology series? If so, nope, no nuns in mirrors in that one

Yeah, Dead of Night, that was the one I was thinking of. So no nuns, cheers anyway, I'll know to look elsewhere now.
