Hi,
was wondering if anyone had a list of who was on each episode of Disco 2? Been thinking that it deserved it's own wiki entry.

This readers letter from Melody Maker dated 23rd January 1971 confirms it was a film insert of Stephen Stills on Disco 2 on Saturday 9th January 1971 between 10:50-11:25pm (colour) I checked the Rock on TV website to see what they had before posting this update.
I protest at the shabby way in which Stephen Stills was treated on "Disco 2" Not only was his song "Black Queen" shortened incredibly, but a totally irrelevant and stupid superimposed black horse provided an absurd distraction and then to crown it all Mike Harding made his usual derogatory references to Stills comparing him unfavourably with Neil Young

Even if that viewer didn't like it it's interesting to read a desciption of the visuals used for this track. Let me know any other music paper clipping you come across regarding Disco 2 or Colour Me Pop.

Adam, I checked old Radio Times from 1970 in the library yesterday; I found some information not on "Rock On TV" or the "Vintage Rock TV Archive" site.
the information was...
21/02/70 The music the Strawbs sang was from their LP "Dragonfly"
30/05/70 The film shown of Quintessence playing two tracks from their LP was filmed at St. Pancras Town Hall
06/06/70 Tony Joe White, Brinsley Schwarz
apologies if you already know this information?
cheers William
