Can anybody spread any light on this US series from the early 70s, i think it was about a group of Hippy Types living on an island that was earmarked for a nuclear bomb test that didnt take place! i also remember they had dune buggys made from old cars!

One of Rod Serling's creations wasnt it? Doubt it was shown in the mid seventies , a programme about hippies making their own world would have looked incredibly dated even then.

I have the vaguest of memories regarding this show but I do remember it was 45 minutes which was very unusual for American TV. It was on in '68 or '69 and it was cancelled mid-season. I don't think it's ever been repeated as there were too few episodes to gain syndication sales.
