Union of European Football Associations, roughly. The UEFA Cup, replacing the Fairs Cup (an anachronism) was compete for for 30 or so years by teams that didn't win their domestic league of Cup competition, but came high up their League of did well in their Cup. Saints competed a number of times. I think Spurs beat Wolves in 1972.

There are some little human touches on the catalogue:
Austria v. Wales 1975. Probably only shown in Wales.
It's that element of doubt-what acts were on in the 1991 series of The Happening is another one on recent threads-that makes for greater interest in what isn't after all ancient history.

Have you gone through the Unionsearch site? I tried searches for 'fc' (1392 results),Tottenham (400-odd,though that includes local news items)...and UEFA (nil). What does UEFA stand for, again? Union of European Football Associations, I think. The competition replaced the Inter-City Fairs Cup in around 1970.

I was just quoted £150 from "ITV sales" for 'New Faces' November 1967 featuring Amen Corner which i have been wanting to see for years, but that sort of money is a bit over the top. Prices really need to come down in this digital age and archives made easily accessible

This was for a DVD for private use. I assume that would be a 'clean' one. There was no option for a timecoded/watermarked one.

I'm going to suggest that the TV licence fee should be replaced by having everyone buying a DVD of their choice of unissued shows from the BBC each year.

I wouldn't assume it's without markings just because there was no mention of one, Paul! In the past, TV shows have been sold to private individuals with time-codes or logos on screen. It's annoying and shouldn't be there at all if you're paying a very large sum of money to an archive for a recording. But it does happen.

But do they water-mark them in any way?

Watermarks less often but logos or time-codes, yes. Not always though and it depends on the company you are buying from and circumstances of the purchase. It's really a pot luck what you get under those circumstances.
