I was thinking, what shows from ITV have been recovered from NTSC copies?
And where (e.g., US, Canada, Japan) have they been recovered?

I don't know if they've been recovered as such but some ATV material seems to survive as NTSC masters of shows made in the UK (although they may have been made in that format for US sales and so aren't conversions as such). There's one episode of Manhunt though that bizarrely only survives as an NTSC master when the others are PAL - a job for RSC, i'd say. There are probably other ITV shows too...

Thanks. This just came to my mind: weren't a few Rediffusion shows recorded in NTSC VT, some of them in co-production with US production companies and subsequently sold to the States. Some of them were recovered, weren't they? A one-off single play among them? And aren't there two surviving copies of The Hippodrome Show? This was made in NTSC colour, broadcast on ITV in b/w and on CBS in the States in colour. Have those copies survived in NTSC colour or on b/w telerecordings?
