Playtime has never been missing. It's in the A for Andromeda 1992 book of holdings.
I wish Lostshows was the repository of all information about everything, but it isn't. We only have limited space and limited information at times.
We have no listing for Playtime on Lostshows hence it will show no information.

Ah, Playtime - I remember it well! A shame there's only one edition existing but, by Rediffusion standards, that's a lot! If I had a time machine, the 1966 / 67 era for TV would be the place I'd most likely re-visit.

Me to Laurence not just for tv but for the music scene and fashions to, as far as i'm concerned there will never be another period in history than the era you mention.

made a submission to lostshows.com for the following episode of The Grove Family BBC, Kaleidoscope contacted bfi and the bfi have confirmed that they do hold this on 35mm, as submitted.
The 'actual confirmation of holding' is key/vital, without it the status of a Missing episode cannot be changed from Missing to Existing, whether complete or incomplete.
11/2/55 Be My Valentine..part of The Grove Family BBC..601 Feet on 35mm. Be My Valentine.. now on Lostshows, is 'one or more sequences exist, but the complete programme is lost'.

as before, made a submission to Lostshows.com for the following episode, Kaleidoscope have contacted bfi and the bfi have confirmed that they do hold this episode, on the format, stated in the submission.
27/11/61 People At Work - The Policeman, part of : The World Around Us ....Associated-Rediffusion
Kaleidoscope have already updated the database, The Policeman will be shown as existing, once Lostshows has been updated. Lostshows says for this Programme that 185 episodes were made, 184 are Missing, but soon to be 183.
the holding at the bfi is on VHS video cassette.

I'd be personally interested in knowing that an early World Around Us existed as I used to watch it myself. From what I can gather, the Fremantle archive doesn't hold anything before about 1971, by which time the most well-known presenter for the show - Gordon Luck - had departed and the format changed. A shame if it's only on VHS though.
Schools programmes generally are a hugely untapped resource in terms of screenings and DVD release. I'm very surprised Network didn't at least bring out a sampler at the time they produced their Soap Box and Look-In compilations.

made a submission to lostshows.com for the following episode of The Sky's The Limit 1970-1974, Kaleidoscope contacted the bfi and the bfi have confirmed that they hold this episode in the formats as submitted. Kaleidoscope have updated the database and Lostshows will be updated later, so that will be one of two existing episodes.
The Sky's The Limit 26/12/71 held on 1-inch video and Digi-Beta 24.49 minutes.
Cast: Hughie Green, Monica Rose, Audrey Graham. Yorkshire Television.
Lostshows say there were 169 episodes made, 167 are Missing and a further episode is incomplete, so later it will be 166 missing.
