Actually, Wheel In Space is currently not selling for fifty quid - the ones that have sold have gone for no more than half that. I could list my copy with a buy it now price of £100, but that doesn't mean it's worth that (unless someone is mug enough to bite)..!

Current price of Reign of Terror at Amazon UK is 39.99. My point is simple. Is it time to panic buy or will these audios be re-issued?

Maybe, but remember, when someone says "It's selling on Amazon @ a zillion pounds",you ask "Oh,it's sold, then?",and they say,"Not yet".Ditto if they say "It's selling for x pounds".The only interesting tense for us is the past tense.Should be easy enough to go on Ebay and check completed sales to find what they've actually sold for.

The ones that are going high are Fury from the Deep, Marco Polo, The Wheel in Space, Enemy of the World, The Myth Makers, The Highlanders, and The Celestial Toymaker. The Moonbase can be gotten cheap used on Ebay if you wait. The rest are just hard to find right now.

They're pretty much all available on iTunes for between £5.95 and £7.95.

Aren't they all being released as sets now, rather than individually? It's not nice if you've already bought 3 out of 5 in a set, and just want the other 2. But if you haven't done that(lucky you) then you get like 5 or 6 stories in one, although obviously not at a cheap price.

The sets will come down in price eventually. Indeed one or two of them have been sold at fairly cheap prices on occasions by the main retailers.
The advantage of the new versions is that you get PDF files containing scans of the original scripts as well.

I wish they would release them without the commentary also.

I wish they would release them without the commentary also. Seconded. If you know the stories pretty well, i'm sure many of us do, the voice overs can get a bit irritating even if they are well meant.

That's why i didn't enjoy the recent Doctor Who and the Giant Robot story on Radio 4 xtra recently i would have preferred the actors in the story's voices rather than Tom Baker's commentary

That's a complete different thing, James. That's the audiobook of the Target novelisation.

One missing audio which I'm listening to at the moment and am finding very entertaining is THE ENEMY OF THE WORLD.The single orphaned episode still existing does it no justice.Excellent soundtrack.I have the cassette version of THE MASSACRE which was one of the first official releases of the missing audio series.I wonder how much that is worth?By the way, what is the current value of the CD of the music for the TOMB OF THE CYBERMEN which was released by the VIA SATELLITE label about 10 years ago?I've heard it rumoured to be valued at around £100!

I just picked up two audios (Massacre and Web of Fear) that I had managed to lose. Cost me about £11 each....

I am looking for a HQ Power of the Daleks audio WITHOUT narration to help someone working on a recon. If anyone has it, please let me know.
