Amazing, ex-2" VT sourced recording. Makes you wonder where that was hiding all these years. Myself as well included there on that one Laurence. In that I am very much interested as well in regards to where, how this was discovered. As many know this series is so poorly represented in the official archives. Words cannot state my enthuaism on that one, almost wanting to swim all the way from the US, is how bad I am wanting to see this. Lift Off has been on my top wish lists for anything to turn up for in regards. Sourced from 2in no less, a dream come true. Anyone possibly able to enlighten the rest of us on the tracks being performed by the various groups there in regards?
I am also thrilled to say the least that they have FINALLY decided to display one of the two 1971 N1500 recovered TOTP editions. These have been languishing, unseen again since were first found for almost 5 years now!!!! Myself among others here have been petitioning for its release-screening for some time. Know Laurence will be overjoyed at seeing John Kongos-Tokoloshe Man ( Myself there as well ). Although the real crowning jewel on the 18/11/71 edition for me is SLADE performing " Coz I Luv You " LIVE In The Studio No Less!!!!! Being stuck here really makes matters worse there for me, as myself and others have worked so long to see this material in particular displayed to the public again after so many years. And after was again, rediscovered 5 years ago, then forgotten about by most everyone it seemed. Myself and two others seemed to be the only ones who remembered these being listed in the Raiders Recovery list at the time? Always thought this was rather strange in regards.
Cheers, Lance.

LIFT OFF AT THE TALBOT! Saturday 9th June 2012, 12:00 - 7:00 pm Function Suite, The Talbot Hotel, High Street, Stourbridge, West Midlands DY8 1DW, UK Free Admission I'm looking forward to seeing all these treasures next month. It's a long trek from South London but I'm sure it'll be well worth it. I've looked at the different options for travelling and have decided to drive the 150 miles there and back. If there's anyone else from around London who wants to share a ride in exchange for chipping in a bit for the fuel costs, let us know. I'll be driving a 7-seater 4WD, which gives me around 20 miles to the gallon around town, but should hopefully manage 30+ cruising up the M40. At current petrol prices that's about £60 to £70 in fuel, there and back. Obviously the more people sharing the less it will cost! Journey time is around 3 hours so I'd be setting off early Saturday morning and getting back to London around 10pm. Anyone interested? Simon

Simon. I'm interested, but I think I'm way off route, even close. I live on the Surrey/Hants borders. I suppose if you went via the M25 West I'm close, but I expect you won't?

I try and avoid the M25 whenever possible, Ray, but if you're able to make the first part of the journey up towards the M40 or South West London, perhaps, then I could pick you up en route.

ANYWAY, the impoverished enfant terrible of the Missing Episodes Forum is definitely interested in getting a lift! Simon, can you think of any towns on that route that might be ok?

Just a quick one, do I have to book a ticket or anything to come to the Kaleidoscope events or do I just turn up?

It's a free event (although there are donations to the RNLI, please donate).
Nonetheless it does get very busy, as you'd expect!

On Saturday the BBC will be receiving the Whole Scene Going print.
If anyone has any BBC clips to return, it's a good time to hand them over to the BBC.
I'm delighted to say that Jeff Christie from Christie will be joining us to watch Lift Off and answer a few questions aswell.
