The Kaleidoscope guide has Moira Armstrong listed as director for both episodes too; Anthea Browne-Wilkinson is listed as script editor for Menace; but the archive holding for troubleshooters is listed as being B&W and the original broadcast format as 2inch so colour film looks very unlikely, so there's a mystery to be resolved there either way. I saw Anthea Browne-Wilkinson listed as director on this episode guide to "Menace" - www.startrader.co.uk/Action%20TV/guide70s/menace.htmIf Moira Armstrong was the director, it means she directed two completely different programmes with the same title within the space of three years ! As the BFI listing doesn't match the format of "Troubleshooters", it seems to be worth looking into this further - does anyone have any experience with, or contacts in, the BFI ? How difficult is it to persuade them to physically view an item that may be wrongly catalogued ? Of course I could contact them myself, but I'm not sure how seriously they would take a random enquiry about something which may not exist... EDIT - Laurence, your post pre-empted mine - yes, getting Kal or Dick Fiddy to check this one out seems like the best policy.

Chris Perry has contacted the BFI about this, and sadly they don't hold this, just a filmographic record.
