Just checked lostshows.com and it doesn't have this episodes listed as missing, yet the database on missingepsiodes.com lists that it is.
Maybe it is not missing.
Can anyone confirm if it is or isn't?
This guy does seem to have some interesting stuff, I echo the suggestion that someone should get in touch with him - just to see if he holds anything else. He does appear to have quite a collection of material.

We have been informed by 'Peter' aka Black Sheep aka Out and About that he holds this print. He is banned from posting here I believe.
We have amended our records to show it is no longer a missing episode.

As someone who's almost persona non grata at the Guardian boards (I expressed liberal views),but doesn't know the history of issues on this site,I'd like to express the hope that it might be possible for the prodigal to return to the fold...I mean for the black sheep to eat the fatted calf...
Obviously,a lot of effort has been put into gathering that collection.Ideally-for his sake and everyone's-some sort of reconciliation is to be desired.

I'd better explain that my comment about "it's him again" meant it was the same person who' just posted two other items on Youtube which had created interest: the Seven of One out-takes,and the Doctor Who tape.Hence my suggestion that he be contacted.

Im assuming the reason is that he isnt pro restoration. but it would be interested in hearing.

I'll just add that I was in touch with OutandAbout in the week when he contacted me via You Tube. I suggested that he might want to allow a transfer to be made, but he didn't seem interested, however I'm happy to leave this one in the hands of Chris.
The reference to 'No Broadcast' is from my own You Tube Channel rather than OutandAbout's, but the confusion has arisen from the way You Tube now mixes everything into one person's feed, so if they comment on a video, it appears in their channel feed too.
He's obviously aware it's missing as he contacted Chris, so he'll either make it available or he won't really, it's up to him. But I suggest it's left to Chris who seems to know the guy anyway. It would be nice if there was a positive outcome, but I won't hold my breath.

I absolutely understand your interest in a new collection that's come to light, but I'm sure if there's anything else, there will be tantalising clips posted on his channel very soon.  Seriously though, it's great to see that another episode of Boyd is still out there somewhere and all credit to Peter for it's discovery and notifying Chris to update the records. There's quite a bit of A-R stuff that exists in private collections. Some owners are happy to make it available and some aren't. So it's business as usual really. |
