I remember seeing a clip of this some years ago on one of those anniversary programmes the BBC usually make. I wondered whether if there are any clips on any sites of this long forgotten version. This was the one with Stanley Baker, I remember it being on tv at the time but dont remember seeing all of it or any of it come to think of it. It was considered at some points 'not suitable for those with a nervous disposition' just like they did with Quatermass. I know this serial is complete in the archives would love to see a clip or two.

But remember that's just an indication. If lostshows says it exists, it probably does. But if it's says 'missing' there may be some episodes, parts of episodes, or audio that is not listed. (It's a huge database, and, as far as I know, kept by volunteers.)

I have found a clip from the 1956 version it was on the BBC ONE site where else ? its 0:55 secs long and is called Mr Rochester takes a tumble, Stanley Baker, and I think its Daphne Slater are in the clip. It looks to be very good quality, this was a pre-filmed sequence with Baker on his horse. The clip as been on there since Oct 2011. I was also looking on the Stanley Baker official site and apparently there was a programme on the late actor on Welsh tv and I think this clip was on there. Would love to see this released on DVD.

I was trying to post about the BBC One website clip the other day but this site kept freezing so glad you found it! The Stanley Baker: Welsh Heroes show had a different clip, either their first interview or when Jane leaves, I can't quite remember!
