Rolling Stones On RSG

Does anyone know anything about this Stones clip from RSG , i've never even heard the song before , forgive me if its a well known clip to everyone on here but it's worth checking it out.

It was included on the Ready Steady Go Rolling Stones Special which I think was made up from various performances from the show. Someone else may be able to help with dates.
The special featured these songs

Although Chris Andrews, Animals and Yardbirds are popular artists these were not there most popular tunes of the time (excellent though they are) so maybe just maybe Dave Clark did't consider them worthy of inclusion in his compilation shows / releases much the same as other less popular artists like Tony Jackson and Dick and Dee Dee (?). So there is a chance that tthis show may exist in full somewhere in his deep dark cavern of an archive!

Good Point Bob , i know it's been covered many times before but i wonder if we'll ever get to know what he really has in his archive .

I know ive said it before, but I think that we have all seen what he has! he has no more and no less. If he has everything like he says thn why is Mr Clark so keen to snap up the odd clips (the zombies summertime for example) that appear on you tube. Prove me wrong mr Clark, show the world your hand!!??

I've heard a bit about Mr.Clark's archive over the last few weeks.
\It's worth remembering that private individuals have done tremendous things over the last few centuries to preserve books,paintings,dwellings,that might well have come to a stickier end in the hands of the state.
Does anyone doubt that Who fans would have taken better care of the episodes than the BBC,in the early years?
Snapping up extra footage might well be the signs of a fan.

The only place that manages to exercise a fair degree of comment on things Clark-related is the forum at thedc5.com and even there nowadays (alas) you have to wade through a fair degree of cr@p

You're right Chris, I must learn to hold my tongue in all matters concerning Mr Clark. Walls have ears. Hey, on not too much of a different topic, what a great example John Henshall is!!! shame others can follow his example, if they have the footage that is !!!
