I know it's got the galaxy 4 bit in brackets but every time this thread jumps to the top I have a mini heart attack for a few seconds till my brain catches up with my eyes . Haha, yes.... I do that as well! I always register the name of a show in a thread title before the full sentence actually gets through to my conscious mind; so there are plenty of quarter second incidents where I nearly spit my coffee out.

Yep,this read ran until the start of October, and I always wondered why no-one re-jigged the title.(I'm assuming that only the original poster can do that). I hope it doesn't seem too absurd to revive it after all these weeks. It was rather momentous news at the time, with some 57 thousands reads. History's interesting, and so is historiography.News about the discovery meant a lot to many people.
Or if not.Fair enough, and apologies all round!

Here you are guys! The only other "Recovery" thread we have for our message board. Started way back in 2004 by Mark Brown regarding the recovery of Day of Armageddon: missingepisodes.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=248Enjoy nostalgia! It's worth it. This thread is located in the General TV section! I'm assuming that the recovery is what lead to the separation of Doctor Who from the rest of the message board. And with good reason I suppose! We sure do talk a lot over here.

If we continue on this trend then the next recovery will be at the end of 2019!!! Hope not! MJ

I love watching Troughton interviews... It's like watching an eccentric uncle, or Rik Mayall... So naughty and mischievous. I have about 60 minutes of a cassette recording of Patrick Troughton in Concord, NH in 1986. I posted some of it here a while ago. I was a former radio news reporter and I was covering a meet and greet, which was more of a press conference, sponsored by NH Public TV.
