If you're referring to the 60s/70s radio shows then there were 4 series of 'The Frankie Howerd Show', the first on the Light Programme in 1966 and the other three on BBC Radio 2 from 1973 - 1975 as below.
I don't know about the BBC archives but of the ten episodes of the first series at least 8 of them are in the hands of collectors as off-airs (Eps 4 & 5 don't appear to be as easy to trace). All the 70s episodes are out there with colelctors in various quality.

There was an BBC LP in the 70s called 'Please Yourselves' which was excerpts from the 70s shows. The two two separate volumes on cassette was released a few times each over the 90s, same content in about 3 or 4 different packagings which cheesed me off as I bought them all thinking they'd be different! Most of the series has been uploaded to YT if you wanted to listen to them. Not sure about Bill McGaffie although he might be name-checked in the credits if you listen to them. I haven't listened to them for some time so can't recall of the top of my head! He also did a variety series in 1878 with a different guest star each week; The Frankie Howerd Variety Show - 12 editions in 2 series (6 eps - Oct 10 - Dec 19 1978) (6 eps - Aug 14 - Sep 18 1979) Radio 2 The Frankie Howerd Variety Show 10/10/1978 S01E01 with Charlie Chester The Frankie Howerd Variety Show 24/10/1978 S01E02 with Acker Bilk The Frankie Howerd Variety Show 07/11/1978 S01E03 with Anita Harris The Frankie Howerd Variety Show 21/11/1978 S01E04 with Roy Walker/ The Wurzels The Frankie Howerd Variety Show 05/12/1978 S01E05 with Lyn Paul The Frankie Howerd Variety Show 19/12/1978 S01E06 with Norman Vaughan
