Ok so 27/05/1976 has been shown which is a good thing though it wasn't exactly a very exciting show. Ruby Flipper's performance to "TVC 15" must be a strong contender for the worst RF performance ever. No TOTP scheduled next week but UK TV Guide lists the next episode for Monday 13th June at 07:30 (!) with the following description "From the year that sculpted pop, Tony Blackburn introduces the Glitter Band, New Edition, JJ Barrie, Our Kid, Cliff Richard, Mud, Thin Lizzy, Dolly Parton and the Rolling Stones", so there's still some hope left the BBC will finally air 03/06/1976. uk-tv-guide.com/programme-details/BBC+4/13+June+2011/18%3A30/Top+of+the+Pops%3A+1976/Documentary/

Ruby Flipper's performance to "TVC 15" must be a strong contender for the worst RF performance ever. You think so? I think it's probably the best and one of the few times the late Flick Colby really thought "outside the box" in her choreography (or lack of it), a million miles from the embarrassing literal interpretations of most RF routines - similar to something Hot Gossip could have done a couple of years later on the Kenny Everett Video Show. Of course it's absurd, but the routines that weren't absurd were generally dreadful.
