I nearly spat my tea out for a second there when I saw that alluring headline! Good news. You can notice a little difference in the sound quality. Very nice of them to share.

Me too! I thought a video or print of an episode had finally surfaced!

One thing ive never seen info on that I can recall at this precise moment anyway, is overseas sales for ace of wands. Does anyone know what countries ace of wands was sold to? Was it sold around Europe, Australia or Africa does anyone know?

I can't seem to find this topic in search when it was talked about before but, from memory, I think Canada bought it. I'm not sure who else. The question mark arises though over just what stories / series were actually put on to t/r for potential sales. It's thought that series 3 plus Seven Serpents were. However, this is open to debate as no one seems to have uncovered conclusive evidence one way or the other.
It would be a real shame if the earlier series were not considered for overseas sales at all and that the master VTs were the only copies that ever existed. The earlier Ace Of Wands remains one of my personal "most wanted programmes" and it's the era with Judy Loe and Tony Selby that I recall most.

I have heard seven serpents and sulphur mentioned quite a few times. It would be nice if anything from the first 2 series surfaced, I didnt see them at the time and it would be a shame to think they were gone forever. I wonder if the original paperwork survives? I am guessing not as someone would preswumably already inspected it.

I think i'm right in saying that all the Thames paperwork was disposed of in the '90s after they lost their franchise. This seems a very short-sighted move as it means that basic production info on Thames series that Fremantle continue to sell is not available! Still, i'd rather they keep the actual programmes than the paperwork for them any day, even though they didn't even do that in certain cases. I'd love to think that at least something / anything from the first two series existed out there somewhere (preferrably a whole story), as an example. Even exact details of the original title sequence seem lost to the mists of time, although we know it was different to the one that came later.

Paperwork disposed of as well Typical! That should lower the chances of tracing any prints that were sent abroad. At least the third series has survived.

Its great to finally hear these recordings. I wonder if anyone has those Till death us do part audio recordings from series 3?

One of the series I would like to see most but one where you think the chances are very slim indeed.

I'm sure someone posted complete wiped episodes of AoW's on Ian Levine's forum a few years ago, can't remember what story it was, i must have a root around the forum later.
Do all the audio's exist for the missing stories? I tried to imagine the visuals while listening to the first part!

You mean complete AUDIO recordings presumably?
It's only a few of the missing Ace stories existing on audio (at least they haven't all surfaced as yet) and the quality isn't exactly wonderful. Seven Serpents and part of Eye Of Ra audios are around and part of another story that I forget offhand (Nightmare Gas?). I'm sure someone here can provide more info though.
