No & Probably are the answers - and if you use the "search" facility on this site you will find the topic of naughty Mr Gadd and the ensuing ridiculous censorship has been discussed over and over and over and over again.....

Whod wanna watch him now though ? Fans of harmless entertaining pop music/tv historians/non-idiots with working brains perhaps?

He " retried" in February 76 in a blaze of publicity so no he wont be & You belong to me only got to 47, so he wouldnt have got on , but more intrestingley 03/06/76 has gone missing, which coincidentley features the G(litter( band , i know a member of the band, and he knew nothing of the bbc4 repeats , so i take it they werent on

Nick overlooks the fact that EinsFestival showed The Glitter Band on TOTP without so much as a murmer, and gives "conspiracy" a bad name. I wonder which band member he knows?

"You Belong To Me" actually got to No.40 so I'm surprised he didn't get on TOTP with that, especially as there were loads of acts that got on the show in '76 without even making the Top 50!

Anyone else think it's absolutely ridiculous that Glitter's - and also The Glitter bands - back catalogue of songs is no longer - in the main - played on the radio? Some Rock N' Roll classics amongst their number.

I don't think the Glitter band should be brought into the vortex/circus I'm sure they wouldn't have agreed with his personal interests.
