does the bbc. still have any of thier roadshows on file? as i remember the sweet used to appear before they were famous on these roadshows for radio one.

I have all the weston-super-Mare R1R's from 1989-1999 and a bit of 1985 in audio
and 1986 (John Cravens newsround) and 1991 (news) on video

Funnily enough yesterday I found a piece of a Roadshow in Margate from the early 1980's. About 10 minutes of Steve Wright with the pub singer singing Wake Me Up Before You Go Go.
What exists from Radio One?

Have got a few poor quality snippets from the 1976 Roadshow in Ipswich hosted by David Hamilton (247m MW was never a good signal here in Ipswich!). Currently on a cassette but could digitise if anyone is really interested!
