billy bunter - backing up bunter

firstly wanted to thank everyone for their replies on my Opportunity Knocks thread. I knew it was a long shot but I thought it worth a try. Since then I've been fasinated by this site and the great attempts to find missing TV programmes.

I have found this on youtube which Lostshows lists as missing. I couldn't find any threads devoted to this so I apologise if this has been bought to your attention before.

according to lost shows series 3 exists. this is from series 3 according to the poster on youtube

IIRC correctly, they did. Certainly I have a not great quality avi copy of that particular "Backing Up Bunter"

My 2 cents:

* At least 4 timecoded episodes can be found on various shady and less shady websites: Double Bunter, Backing Up Bunter, Bunter Won't Go and Bunter on the Warpath.

* A 5th episode reportedly circulated but has not found its way to the internet.

* Some stories were recorded twice. Make sure which episode from which year it is exactly. I recall some of the ones out there on the internet had been done before (the earlier versions are lost, no doubt).

* Apart from that, lostshows is sometimes incorrect. It's a great start for looking, but it is not the final answer.
