Does anybody, remember this series that was the start of Terry and June, it led to T.J, was just wondering if any of this show excist , remember Franchocie Pacal, in an epsoide about the same time that she was in Mind your language , probably been wiped with all the rest of our classic comedy from 70s

Yep they all exist, but the writer thing could indeed have been the problem, as the whole reason Terry and June was created, was over an argument between the BBC and the writer of Happy Ever After. Hence they then appeared with a slightly different surname and the auntie character disappeared

The 74/79 series does not appear to excist according to this, no idea about the 69/70 series or what it was about

There was actually an episode of Terry and June on ITV3 earlier today.

You're reading that wrongly, Nick. It says it exists. The earlier series is the one that is missing material.

no idea about the 69/70 series or what it was about It was a drama anthology series from ATV - different cast every week- but no Terry Scott or June Whitfield. Apparently survives almost complete as a mixture colour VTR and B/W TR. The most remembered one with Judy Geeson from 1969 turned up in the afternoon sschedules of the mid seventies

Interesting bit of trivia that Eric Merriman, the writer of the sitcom "Happy Ever After", had back in 1964 decided to stop writing the popular radio show, "Beyond Our Ken", and the BBC kept the show going but had to change the title to "Round The Horne", because Merriman had rights to the title!
