This does not appear to have come from the Anglian archive. The poster appears to have been involved with the production semi-independently. The show MAY be called Trails. What is interesting is it dates from the era of the 'colour dispute' from 1971. www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8y6kXnuGbQI have no idea of the archive status and would be grateful for anyone's input.

I have been in touch with the poster.
It is confirmed that Anglia do NOT hold the film.

There is movement on this remarkable piece of sporting footage.
I have now been in touch with the owner of the footage. More news when I can.

The owner of the footage is willing to have his film preserved. The footage appears to actually date from 1961-63. The programme may well have been called 'Trials'.
I have put him in touch with Kaleidoscope and vice versa.
There is a small possibility an acquaintance of his may have some likely missing early Grandstand footage, featuring commentary by a young Murray Walker.
More news when I know of any.
