It wasn't just shown in the America - the entire series was actually a co-production between the BBC and one of the major US studios - but I can't for the life of me recall which one at the moment.

That looks like quite an interesting show. Maybe Network or someone similar will secure a DVD release at some point.

It's a BBC series, so it's unlikely you'll see it from Network.
