Kal Lost Shows lists both series as existing complete, although i'm doubtful of this, as Good Afternoon / Afternoon Plus ran for a number of years (and also that Thames weren't very good at keeping magazine programmes in the early '70s). A number of editions do survive though as clips turn up from time to time. I'd be very surprised if both series survived in their entirety but would be happy to be proved wrong on this!
I seem to recall that Good Afternoon started life by shooting off from something called Tea Break, which I doubt exists at all. Does anyone else recall this?

Tea Break ah yes. I think this was in the period before the afternoon programming went networked? hosts were Mary Parkinson and Renny Lister IIRC
another forgotten predecessor of a famous programme was 'Eleven Plus' which had various hosts but later became the more well known 'Russell Harty Plus'

Mary Parkinson and Renny Lister, yes! I'd love to see an episode again. I bet nothing exists at all though.

We only have four entries in the db so it thinks they all exist, lol. It's not a show we've ever researched.

You mean four entries of existing editions for Good Afternoon / Afternoon Plus, Chris? Or four entries for Tea Break? One to research eventually though as those series contained a lot of in-depth interviews with well-known people!

Well i've made a start!
Their's two clips tucked away on the TV Ark site as well!
So do the four entries relate to the clips i found?

Does that four include the couple listing as existing at the BFI archive, Chris? Do you know the dates and / or who the guests are on the four as well? Just so we can identify what is existing.
