It very well may be, as Chris Dabbs told me that the band were rarely interviewed as a whole group, it normally being two or three of them. We may well have solved this one, as the footage has been dated to 1975.

It's definately Luke Casey. And at the very beginning of the clip, you see Mike Neville's face before the interview starts.
So it will be from BBC 'Look North' (Newcastle). Mike Neville (& Luke Casey?) sometimes used to do regional link ups on 'Nationwide' as well.

Yes it's definitely Look North in Newcastle. Mike Neville at the start. Just a guess Ray but I would say it could well be missing. I know that when BBC Manchester moved to the new studios on Oxford Road in the 1970's they were going to bin all the regional news footage (film reports). Luckily it ended up in a room at the North West Film Archive, though the documentation was far from satisfactory - being just the running order from the programmes. I assume it is all still at the NWFA. So it wouldn't surprise me if a similar thing was happening up and down the country with BBC regional news. Plus the studios in Newcastle were very small - an old fever hospital on New Bridge Street with an extension on the back. There wasn't much head room in the studio. I wonder how much space they had for a film archive? www.flickr.com/photos/newcastlelibraries/4077601674/BBC Oxford Road in Manchester is up for sale now! tradingaswdr.blogspot.com/2010/09/bbc-oxford-road-manchester-for-sale.html

BBC North East have had dedicated programmes with such archive footage in the recent past. I don't know how good their archiving is but it suggests that quite a lot of material survives.
There are quite a lot of local news film inserts from this period on the North East & Cumbria section of BBC 'Nation On Film'. But this clip appears not to be on there.
