My wife says she remembers a tv drama either in the late 60s or 70s about a cricketer, she said it used to be on every day or something, she thinks it may have been Australian, can someone help please Im stumped and shes driving me batty....and before anyone says it....Howzat !

The series your wife is talking about was called Bodyline which BBC1 showed nightly - it was originally shown in 5 x 2hr episodes.
Its now available on DVD in Australia and (I think) Canada and is a terrific show, even though the DVD version is missing about 3/10ths of the original show. It starred Gary Sweet and Hugo Weaving.
Buy it if you can, it's great!

Yeah, Bodyline was 80s but its the only show it could be - there wasn't another Aussie cricket show and the nightly screening also points to it being Bodyline I think. Though I stand to be corrected, maybe there was a British show that fits the bill.
