I think this is from the show broadcast on 27th November 1968; the band did appear on MKOF on that date and it was hosted by Archie Fisher, so it seems very likely.

We have discovered other MKOFs in WAV format. What to do with them is a moot point. Radio Circle have a good record in getting shows back to the Beeb and rebroadcast. I'm sure I read somewhere late last year that material had also been passed to the Thackray Project so it could be commercially released. They maintain their own archive for recordings that aren't ready to be accepted by official archives yet, so the next best thing to ideal! I suppose offering them up for archiving somewhere means there is potential for re-use in the future as they are known to exist - sitting on them isn't any better than the oft used accusation that stuff is gathering dust on an archive shelf.
