Excuse the posting, but just a quick info update, as I am only online briefly.
Saturday Scene clip from 03/09/77, is confirmed to be missing, no reply from poster of clip yet.
Currently in negotiations in regard to recovery of part of a missing show from a '78 wiped kids ITV show, transferred from home video recording. More news when I have it, full story etc.
Also, have discovered whereabouts of approx one hours worth of mid/late 60's ATV clips (all missing, and broadcast quality), and will be contacting owner after Xmas/New Year break to ask for return....
Am currently still waiting for responses of about ten people in regards to their missing footage....

Hi Alan, firstly a thank you, and I really am trying my best! )) for reasons I really can't go into for the moment, I have located some ATV footage - the clips are from the same show. The owner got them from ATV just before the series was wiped in its' entirety. Negotiations toget the ATV stuff back may be a bit tricky. I found out the existence shortly prior to Xmas, I am going to contact the owner in the New Year and I really can't say anymore than that regrettably. It's quite possible the owner may have other stuff too. I will let everyone know any responses I get - or not - and I will let you all know what the show is in the New Year. But I must contact the owner first. All will become clear! )) Good evening....

This is great news Ray, but I would really recommend keeping it all under your hat until negotiations are complete, to avoid a) putting the owner off and b) unfairly raising people's hopes if it all goes belly up.
