Anyone know whether the above documentary exists? Was browsing the web and noticed it on a list, apparently it's a colour BBC doc from 1964.

I have now spent half an hour trying to find this show. No joy.
Why not ask Andrew Martin at the BBC. If it is missing, are you going to buy it?

Thanks for the searching Ray. If it is missing it would definately be worth buying it, but being now retired ( for health reasons), I only exist on one solitary benefit these days (apparently I worked so well for so long, after my Brain haemorrage, the BBC couldn't retire me on medical grounds - meaning a pension - even though they wanted to! - so it doesn't always pay to be good at your job..lol). Money is therefore quite tight, so I have to be choosey if I unearth anything these days and Documentaries aren't as easy to sell on (if needed) as sitcoms or drama.

David, on a personal note - I was told by an NHS Advisor to give up work indefinitely in 2005, I ignored the advice, moved 300 miles to get work, and I believe I'd be better off not working!
But, anyway, my gut feeling is it is missing.
So should anybody have the money to purchase it (I don't, and I would if I could, believe me), please let me know!

Yes. Before anything else, it really does need a word here from either Andrew Martin or Chris Perry to verify if the item is actually missing or indeed if it's what it appears to be.

Hi Guys,
I've heard back from the chappie with this documentary, but still have no idea whether it exists in the Archive? Being a documentary it is more likely than not it does exists, but I wouldn't want it to disappear if it doesn't, but I can't really afford to get it sent over to the UK as I don't have paypal or anything similar. If anyone is interested, I'm happy to give out the collectors details via private msgs.
