Yep, the official blog is here: www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/aboutthebbc/2010/08/bbc-genome-the-complete-broadc.shtmlThey are using the listings from their very first radio broadcast to create the spine of their future archive offerings. Every programme every broadcast will have it's own page. This has been an automated process for the last couple of years now, tying in with iPlayer. The work will begin next month, but it doesn't sound like anything will appear online until next year, they've said the process should be complete within a year. The potential of this, from an archive enthusiasts point of view, is stunning.

No, that particular site has been up for quite some time. Nothing to do with the BBC, it is an ongoing project by one of the guys over at the Mausoleum Club I believe.

I wonder how they're squaring this with copyright? Many photographers license photos for one use only and by doing this the BBC is effectively reusing those images in another medium (online) and forever. Unless Radio Times made different arrangements for photography...
