I was just wondering does anyone remember a documentry world war programme called All our Yesterdays in my area it use to be shown on a sunday afternoon on southern tv .I'd be interested to know who the presenter was and if anything exists from this bearing in mind the shows content was all war footage and there's no imformation about it on lostshows.

The presenter was Brian Inglis en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Inglis. I remember it very well (like you, I was in the Southern area). If pushed, I could even hum you the theme tune. As you say, the main material was war time movie newsreels. Inglis's commentaries would be nice to hear again though. ~iw

yes thanks for that lads Brian Inglis that name does come to mind when the show was originally transmitted i was to young to really be interested in it then but i do remember it being on tv i still wonder if anything exists from it though.

I remember Bernard Braden bringing back the show in the 1980's for a while.

As a collector of news footage, I can only say that the 80s version with Bernard Braden was an absolute goldmine for footage from 1962 and 1963. The programme was pulled at very short notice; I've never known why. I think he was a wonderful presenter.
