Although only young at the time (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!), Anita Harris made a big impression on me in David Nixon's Magic Box. I have seen some poor quality clips online but are there any complete episodes and have they ever been made available?
I also remember a programme she made in the early 70's (?) which I think was called Anita In Wonderland. Is the title correct and does it exist still?
Any info would be gratefully appreciated.
Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing such interesting information.

I was born in 1958 and I remember Anita Harris being a big TV star when I started to appreciate "adult" TV from the late 1960s/early 1970s. She was on a lot of shows and was more of a cabaret singer than a pop star.
She did a Katy Manning for one of the men's magazines - I certainly remember that! - although it was tame by the standards of today's lads mags.

Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing such interesting information. Bernie Thames TV orginally made the programme and their version appears to be completely junked. However (I maybe wrong on this) Anita's husband Mike bought or obtained the rights to the programme , which he joined two episodes together (original RT 15 mins) to make half hour programmes, which he distributed on colour telerecordings as repeat UK 70s runs or for other markets. So these versions maybe around somewhere?

What a shame they junked it. I hope the Edits turn up. Thanks very much for the info.

Was this Anita In Jumbleland? I remember watching this too but seem to have read somewhere that one edition or part thereof (a christmas special?) turned up on tape somewhere or other. Can anyone confirm / deny this?
