Good People - lend me your ears...
I'm trying to locate film prints of the Danziger TV series - titles such as Adventure Theatre, The Crooked Path, Tension, Mark Saber, Saber of London, Man from Interpol, The Cheaters, Richard the Lionheart - some of these names were A/R repeats of other series, but these are all things I'm trying to find.
I'm working for the people who own the material now and in fact bought it direct from Harry Lee Danziger, but sadly the Danzigers never kept up their film archive once they finished film & TV production in the early 1960s... Of course I am talking to the BFI & Dick Fiddy, as well as being in contact with Kaleidoscope, private collectors and have even contacted foreign broadcasters who may have bought them back in the day. I've also contacted a few people direct who contribute to this site.
So if anyone's got any info, please get in touch - discretion is assured. This is the only way that these programmes will ever get any kind of legitimate release so please do help if you can.
Also looking for prints of the Danziger feature film material by the way!
I'm not publishing my e-mail address on a public forum as I'll get spammed to death but if you contact me through the messaging system on this site, I will reply.
Thanks folk, Mark

UCLA has two prints that may be of interest: Tell-tale heart (film) - 35mm safety [5 reels] The vise: Ring of greed (TV production) - 16mm safety [1 reel . 30 mins]

There were some Danziger shows screened on Bravo back in the 90s. I know it's a long shot, but maybe someone there knows where those prints were sourced from? There was also a stack of Cheaters episodes for sale in the states some years ago. I contacted a collector over here who's very much into Danziger shows, but I don't know if he bought them? His website is www.78rpm.co.uk

Gents - thanks for your replies. I do know of the UCLA Holdings but also know haw very difficult it is to get masters out of them. And there will be news of Tell Tale Heart soon in any case... I'm on the Bravo case thanks Tim, and have have acutally bought some Cheaters prints from the chap at that wesbite Dinosaur TV - a very good site on British TV of the '50s and '60s if anyone wants to take a look.

I've got some copies of the Bravo screenings of Saber of London, and they all look like NTSC conversions.
