hi all. I just watched the film remake of the trollenberg terror for the first time in a while and was wondering if much was known about the original television version. I know that all episodes of this are officially missing from the archive, but I was wondering if there were any other elements in existence? for example, stills, scripts, audio recordings (probably not), random clips? Are there any reviews for it from the time, or did anyone here watch it? Additionally has anyone managed to dig up any information about overseas sales on this one? anyway, any info is greatfully recieved

I have tried to get info on this one for years apparently it doesnt exist? but somewhere a few years ago I read in a magazine that it had been recovered in Canada, but the trail ended there. I am sure I have some old newspaper reviews of it in my collection, which I obtained in the 70s. I think the mag I read it ( the recovery) in was SFX? It was only a small bit. I have never seen any stills, I did hear one episode of this when I was a kid , it was sound only through one of those reddifusion radios. I have never give up on this one or STRANGE WORLD OF PLANET X. good hunting.

I've never heard of anything existing from this serial. I would guess though that the likeliest possibility would be a few publicity stills, which were a usual form of promotion back then. Not that i've seen any, mind.

The most likely source of stills would be the TV Times (which I think was around in 1956) for the week of original broadcast, as Trollenberg was an ATV production. Reproduction might be a bit poor, but it's better than nowt.
