Isn't it annoying! Particularly as I live there, but so many people I meet (not even Americans, so there's no excuse!) say Hurtfordshire. It's pronounced HART-fordshire, folks! |

If you think Hertfordshire's bad, you should hear some of the strange interpretations of Worcestershire!! ;D Mispronunciations aside, it's an interesting little look at the BFI. Thanks for the link Tim. |
