QUATERMASS RELATED.

Over the years I have come across a couple of peoples names on the sites who were related to some of the actors in the series. One guy was the great nephew of John Robinson, one other guy was the son of Patrick Connor who played a policeman in THE PIT on TV,I did come across one other site where someone was related to Duncan Lamont, as they used to call him 'Unc Dunc', cant remember the site though? Is there anyone else out there who might be connected in some way with the actors or anybody in the Quatermass series or films?. Heres one I just thought of the son of Richard Wordsworth (Quatermass Expt.) Christopher I think he was called, used to work on the Film Making magazine, Wordsworth senior was the great great grandson of William Wordsworth!

I would say that there are very few members of the cast or production team for the three BBC Quatermass serials still around.

Possibly, Anthony Sagar who played Dr Kline in the 'Pit' is around, but may have retired. Also, Mark Eden, one of the news reporters in the same serial, is around.

Last I heard, Dick Mills of the former Radiophonic Workshop is alive and well and it is possible that Clifford Hatts, the set designer for the 'Pit' may be around, but that may well be it, unless someone knows otherwise.

Richard Greenough the set designer on three episodes of the The Quatermass Experiment is alive and well and has recently donated all his production files from his time at the BBC and then ATV to the Alexandra Palace Television Society Archive.

Yes I understand that most of the actors and production crew are probably not with us anymore as the Quatermass serials go back almost 60 years now. I did mean people that may be related to any of the cast and crew, nephews, nieces, sons, daughters anyone. Thinking of this though people such as Jason Morell is the son of Andre and he is an actor, actress Lysette Anthony is the daughter of Bernadette Milne who had a part in the original first Quatermass serial. I am getting away from my original query now, where maybe it would be interesting to search out some these sons/ daughters of some of the actors assoc. with Quatermass. Actually a friend of mine did see Mark Eden walking through Manchester with Sue Nicholls his wife.How old would Richard Greenhough be now? thanks.
