BBS is reporting the death of veteran commentator Bill Mclaren, 'the voice of rugby'.
RIP to anyone who can produce such gems as "I'm no hod carrier but I'd be laying bricks is he [Jonah Lomu] was running at me".

I bet not many of todays commentators will be remembered in the same way as say Eddie waring, Brian Moore , Peter o' sullivan and of course Bill Mclaren they all had personality .
